Ingredients

  • 3 large parsnips, peeled and cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions

  1. Preheat sous vide machine to 185°F.
  2. In a bowl, mix together olive oil, oregano, thyme, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
  3. Add the parsnips to the bowl and toss to coat with the herb mixture.
  4. Place the parsnips in a vacuum-sealed bag and seal tightly.
  5. Place the bag in the water bath and cook for 45 minutes.
  6. Remove the bag from the water bath and let cool slightly before serving.
