Directions
- In a shallow bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, salt, pepper, paprika, oregano, and basil.
- Heat the oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Dredge the bass fillets in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.
- Carefully place the fillets in the hot oil and butter and cook until golden brown and crispy, about 5 minutes per side.
- Once cooked through, remove the fish from the skillet and serve with lemon wedges.
