Ingredients
1 9-inch unbaked pie crust
4 cups fresh gooseberries
1/2 cup sugar
3 tablespoons cornstarch

1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup sour cream

Directions
Preheat the oven to 375°F. Place the pie crust in a 9-inch pie plate.
In a large bowl, mix together the gooseberries, sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt. Pour the mixture into the pie crust.
In a medium bowl, mix together the sour cream and melted butter. Pour the mixture over the gooseberry filling.
Sprinkle the top of the pie with turbinado sugar. Bake for 45 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let cool for at least 30 minutes before serving.
