  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 8 ounces bacon, diced
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/4 cup parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the linguine and cook until al dente, about 8 minutes.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil. Add the garlic and red pepper flakes, and cook until fragrant. Pour in the white wine and cook until it has reduced by half.
  3. Add the bacon and cook until it is lightly browned. Add the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Simmer until the sauce has thickened. Stir in the parsley and season with salt and pepper to taste.
