Ingredients
2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon salt
½ cup sour cream
1 egg
3 tablespoons butter, melted

Directions
In a large bowl, combine the flour and salt.
Add the sour cream, egg, and melted butter. Mix until a soft dough forms.
Knead the dough for 5 minutes, then cover and let rest for 10 minutes.
On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough to a ¼-inch thickness.
Cut circles using a biscuit cutter or glass.
Place a spoonful of filling in the center of each circle.

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
Cook the pierogi for 5 minutes, or until they float to the top.
Remove the pierogi from the boiling water and drain.
Serve with melted butter, sour cream, or your favorite topping.
