Ingredients
- 2 slices of bread
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 eggs
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Directions
- Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium heat.
- Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread. Place one slice of bread in the skillet, butter side down.
- Crack an egg onto the bread in the skillet. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, to taste.
- Place the other slice of bread on top of the egg, butter side up. Cook until the egg is cooked through and the bread is golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Carefully flip the sandwich over and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes.
- Serve hot.
