Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup grated cheese
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, and garlic powder.
  2. Add the warm water and 1/4 cup melted butter and mix until a dough forms.
  3. Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead until it is smooth, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces and roll each piece into a ball.
  5. Roll each ball into a rope about 1/2 inch thick and cut into 1 inch pieces.
  6. Place the pieces onto a greased baking sheet and brush with the remaining melted butter.
  7. Sprinkle with grated cheese and bake at 375°F for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy!
