- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 cup warm water
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 cup grated cheese
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
Directions
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, and garlic powder.
- Add the warm water and 1/4 cup melted butter and mix until a dough forms.
- Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead until it is smooth, about 3-4 minutes.
- Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces and roll each piece into a ball.
- Roll each ball into a rope about 1/2 inch thick and cut into 1 inch pieces.
- Place the pieces onto a greased baking sheet and brush with the remaining melted butter.
- Sprinkle with grated cheese and bake at 375°F for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown.
