Ingredients
- 4 pounds boneless pork shoulder
- 1 onion, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Directions
- Place the sliced onion and minced garlic at the bottom of a slow cooker.
- In a medium bowl, mix together the ketchup, honey, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
- Rub the pork shoulder with the BBQ sauce mixture, making sure to coat it well.
- Place the coated pork shoulder on top of the onion and garlic in the slow cooker.
