Ingredients

  • 2 racks baby back ribs
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

Directions

  1. Combine garlic powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, chili powder, salt and pepper in a small bowl.
  2. Rub the spice mixture onto both sides of the ribs.
  3. Place the ribs in a slow cooker and cover with the lid.
  4. Cook on low for 7 to 8 hours.
  5. In a medium bowl, combine ketchup, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder and onion powder.
  6. When the ribs are done cooking, brush the sauce onto both sides of the ribs.
  7. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
  8. Place the ribs on a foil-lined baking sheet and bake for 10 to 15 minutes, until the sauce is caramelized.
  9. Serve with extra sauce.
