Ingredients
1 cup of white sesame seeds
3 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
1 teaspoon of cumin powder
2 dried red chillies, broken into small pieces

Directions
Dry roast the sesame seeds on low heat for about 10 minutes, stirring constantly.
Once the sesame seeds are lightly browned, transfer them to a bowl and let them cool.
In a blender, add the cooled sesame seeds, garlic, cumin powder and red chillies. Blend until the mixture is a coarse powder.
Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the sesame seed powder and fry for a few minutes until the raw smell is gone.
Add salt to taste and turn off the heat.
Transfer to a bowl and let it cool before serving.
