Ingredients

  • 1 store-bought angel food cake
  • 1 pint fresh strawberries, diced
  • 1 pint fresh blueberries
  • 1 pint fresh raspberries
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Slice the angel food cake into 1-inch thick slices and place on a baking sheet. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the diced strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Stir to combine.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat heavy cream with an electric mixer until soft peaks form. Add vanilla extract and continue to beat until stiff peaks form.
