Ingredients
- 2 lbs chicken thighs or breast
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup white distilled vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 bay leaves
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Directions
- In a large bowl, combine chicken, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, vinegar, pepper, and olive oil. Stir to combine.
- Transfer the mixture to the slow cooker, making sure to coat the chicken evenly with the sauce.
- Add the bay leaves and brown sugar to the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low heat for 6-8 hours or on high heat for 3-4 hours.
- Once the chicken is cooked through, remove the bay leaves and transfer the chicken to a serving dish. Garnish with fresh parsley.
