Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 onion, diced
- 1/2 green pepper, diced
- 1 (15 oz) can sloppy joe sauce
- 1 (32 oz) bag frozen tater tots
- 1 (10 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef, onion, and green pepper until beef is no longer pink.
- Drain fat and return to skillet. Add sloppy joe sauce and stir to combine.
- In a 9x13 baking dish, spread tater tots in an even layer.
- Spoon sloppy joe mixture over tater tots.
- In a medium bowl, combine cream of mushroom soup and 1/2 cup water. Pour over casserole.
- Bake for 20 minutes.
- Sprinkle with cheddar cheese and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
