Ingredients

  • 2 pounds fresh crab, cleaned and shelled
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion, bell pepper, garlic, and ginger, and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  2. Add the turmeric, coriander, cumin, paprika, red pepper flakes, sugar, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine, and cook for another 2 minutes.
  3. Add the crab to the skillet, and stir to combine. Cook for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the crab is cooked through.
  4. Serve over steamed rice and enjoy!
