Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp (peeled, deveined and tails removed)
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley (chopped)

Directions

  1. Heat the butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the garlic and red pepper flakes and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  3. Add the shrimp and cook until they are just starting to turn pink, about 4 minutes.
  4. Add the white wine and lemon juice and reduce the heat to medium-low. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
