Ingredients
- 2 large sweet potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
- 1 butternut squash, peeled, seeded, and thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Arrange sweet potato and butternut squash slices in the baking dish.
- In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, flour, salt, and pepper. Sprinkle over the vegetables.
- Pour the milk over all. Sprinkle with cheeses.
- Bake in preheated oven for 40 to 45 minutes, or until vegetables are tender and the top is golden brown.
