Ingredients
- 1 package of egg roll wrappers
- 8 ounces of cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup of sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons of butter, melted
- Oil for frying
Directions
- In a medium sized bowl, mix together the cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon until well combined.
- Lay out one egg roll wrapper on a clean surface. Place 2 tablespoons of the cream cheese mixture in the center of the wrapper.
- Fold the wrapper in half to form a triangle. Seal the edges with a little of the melted butter.
- Repeat with the remaining wrappers and cream cheese mixture.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F.
- Fry the egg rolls in batches for about 2 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Drain on a paper towel lined plate.
- Serve warm.
