- 4 large potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add the potatoes and sauté until lightly golden, about 5 minutes.
- Add the cream and stir to combine. Cook until the cream is hot and beginning to thicken, about 5 minutes. Remove from the heat and stir in the cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread into an even layer. Bake for 30 minutes, or until the potatoes are fork-tender and the top is golden brown.
- Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
