Ingredients
- 2 cans of wild Alaskan salmon, drained and flaked
- 1/2 cup of onion, finely diced
- 1/2 cup of celery, finely diced
- 1/4 cup of parsley, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs
- 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon of smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of pepper
- 1/4 cup of mayonnaise
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 4 burger buns
- 1/2 cup of lettuce
- 1/2 cup of tomato, sliced
- 1/4 cup of red onion, sliced
Directions
- In a large bowl, combine the salmon, onion, celery, parsley, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, mayonnaise, and egg. Mix until everything is evenly combined.
- Form the salmon mixture into 4 equal patties.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the patties to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
- To assemble the burgers, place a patty on the bottom bun. Top with lettuce, tomato, and red onion. Add the top bun and enjoy!
