Ingredients

  • 2 cans of wild Alaskan salmon, drained and flaked
  • 1/2 cup of onion, finely diced
  • 1/2 cup of celery, finely diced
  • 1/4 cup of parsley, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon of smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of pepper
  • 1/4 cup of mayonnaise
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 4 burger buns
  • 1/2 cup of lettuce
  • 1/2 cup of tomato, sliced
  • 1/4 cup of red onion, sliced

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the salmon, onion, celery, parsley, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, mayonnaise, and egg. Mix until everything is evenly combined.
  2. Form the salmon mixture into 4 equal patties.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the patties to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
  4. To assemble the burgers, place a patty on the bottom bun. Top with lettuce, tomato, and red onion. Add the top bun and enjoy!
