Ingredients
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon cumin

Directions
Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
Add the paprika, cumin, oregano, chili powder, and red pepper flakes and cook for 1 minute.
Add the sausage and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
Add the garbanzo beans, diced tomatoes, and chicken broth and bring to a boil.
Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes.
Stir in the parsley and season with salt and pepper, to taste.
Serve hot.
