Ingredients
- 1/2 cup sago pearls
- 2 cups water
- 1/4 cup Gula Melaka syrup
- 1/4 cup coconut milk
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Directions
- In a pot, bring the water to a boil. Add in the sago pearls and let it simmer for 15 minutes or until the sago pearls are soft.
- Strain the sago pearls and set aside.
- In a clean pot, add the Gula Melaka syrup, coconut milk, and salt. Stir until combined.
- Add the sago pearls back to the pot and stir until combined. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Serve the sago pudding with Gula Melaka warm or cold.
