Ingredients

  • 1/2 head of cabbage, shredded
  • 1 large carrot, shredded
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon celery seed
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the shredded cabbage and carrots.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sugar, celery seed, garlic powder, onion powder and vinegar.
  3. Pour the mayonnaise mixture over the cabbage and carrots and mix until everything is evenly coated.
  4. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
  5. Serve chilled.
