1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
1 cup plain yogurt
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon ground coriander
1 teaspoon garam masala
1 teaspoon ground turmeric
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro, for garnish
Directions
In a large bowl, combine the chicken cubes, yogurt, cumin, coriander, garam masala, turmeric, ginger, garlic powder, and salt and pepper. Mix well to combine.
Cover the bowl and let the chicken marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Line a baking sheet with foil and lightly grease with oil.
Remove the chicken from the marinade and place the cubes on the prepared baking sheet. Bake in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
Serve the kebabs hot with warm naan or other Indian-style breads and garnish with chopped cilantro, if desired.
