Ingredients
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 eggs
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a baking sheet or line with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Stir in the flour, baking powder, salt, and vanilla extract until well blended.
- Fold in the walnuts and chocolate chips.
- Drop by teaspoonfuls onto the prepared baking sheet, about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until lightly golden. Allow to cool on baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
