Ingredients
- 4 pork chops
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup uncooked white rice
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the butter and pork chops and cook until the pork chops are golden brown and cooked through, about 5 minutes per side.
- Add the rice, chicken broth, oregano, thyme, and basil to the skillet and stir to combine. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and cover the skillet. Simmer for 20 minutes, or until the rice is cooked and the liquid has been absorbed.
