Ingredients
2 cups light brown sugar
1/3 cup butter
1/3 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
Directions
Butter an 8-inch square baking pan.
Mix together the brown sugar, butter, and milk in a saucepan over medium heat.
Bring the mixture to a boil and stir constantly for 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and chopped nuts.
Pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan and let cool for 30 minutes.
Cut into squares and serve.
