Ingredients

  • 6 cups fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup packed dark brown sugar
  • 4 tablespoons cold butter, cut into small pieces

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F. Grease an 8-inch square baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the peaches, granulated sugar, 2 tablespoons flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine the oats, 1/4 cup flour, and brown sugar. Cut in the butter until the mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle the topping over the peach filling.
  4. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until the topping is golden and the filling is bubbly.
  5. Let cool for at least 15 minutes before serving.
