Ingredients

  • 1 lb of your favorite pasta
  • 1/4 cup of extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 cups of fresh tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/4 cup of fresh basil, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and add the pasta. Cook until al dente and drain.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes.
  3. Add the tomatoes and cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the basil and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Add the cooked pasta to the pan and toss to combine. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Serve hot with grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.
