Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease an 8x8 inch baking pan with margarine.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine cocoa, margarine, sugar, eggs, vanilla, baking powder, and salt. Beat until smooth.
  3. Gradually stir in flour until blended.
  4. Pour batter into prepared pan.
  5. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Allow to cool before cutting into squares.
