Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 lb mushrooms, sliced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 lb cooked pasta (penne, rigatoni, or macaroni)
- 2 tablespoons butter
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground turkey until it's browned. Drain off any excess fat and remove from heat.
- In the same skillet, add the onion, garlic, mushrooms, and Italian seasoning. Cook over medium heat until the vegetables are softened, about 5 minutes.
- Add the cooked turkey back to the skillet and stir to combine. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Add the chicken broth, cream, and Parmesan cheese. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and stir to combine. Add the butter and stir until it's melted.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 9x13-inch baking dish and bake for 20 minutes, or until heated through and bubbly.
- Serve hot.
