Ingredients
- 2 pounds of clams
- 4 tablespoons of butter
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup of dry white wine
- 2 tablespoons of fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add the white wine and bring to a boil.
- Add the clams and stir to coat with the butter and garlic mixture.
- Cover the pot and cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the clams have opened.
- Discard any clams that do not open.
- Stir in the parsley and season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Serve and enjoy!
