Directions
In a medium bowl, combine the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, parsley, chives, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well with a rubber spatula.
Form the cheese mixture into a ball and roll in the chopped pecans to cover the outside.
Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
Interesting Facts
The cheese ball can be made up to two days in advance.
You can substitute walnuts or almonds for the chopped pecans.
You can also use store-bought shredded cheese instead of shredding it yourself.
