Ingredients
- 1/2 pound ground pork
- 1/2 pound peeled and deveined shrimp, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon grated ginger
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped scallions
- 1 package wonton wrappers (50 count)
Directions
- In a medium bowl, combine pork, shrimp, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, white pepper, and scallions.
- Mix together until all ingredients are evenly combined.
- To assemble wontons, place 1 teaspoon of the pork and shrimp mixture in the center of each wonton wrapper.
- Dip your finger in water and moisten two edges of the wonton wrapper.
- Fold wrapper in half, pressing edges together to seal.
- To cook wontons, bring a large pot of water to a boil.
- Carefully add wontons to boiling water and cook for 3-4 minutes or until wontons float to the top.
- Remove cooked wontons from the pot with a slotted spoon and let drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
- Serve wontons with your favorite dipping sauce.
