Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.
In a medium bowl, cream together butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, vanilla extract, orange zest and orange juice. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt; stir into the creamed mixture until blended. Stir in the chopped pecans.
Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto the prepared cookie sheets. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until lightly browned. Let cookies cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
