Ingredients
- 4 Chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 cup of orange juice
- 1/4 cup of honey
- 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons of cold water
Directions
- In a shallow bowl, mix together the flour, salt, and pepper. Dredge the chicken breasts in the flour mixture, making sure to coat them evenly.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- Add the garlic to the skillet and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Pour in the orange juice and honey, and bring to a simmer. Simmer for 3-4 minutes, or until the sauce has reduced slightly.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the cornstarch and cold water. Slowly add the cornstarch mixture to the skillet, stirring constantly. Simmer for another 3-4 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and cook for another 2-3 minutes, or until the chicken is heated through and the sauce has coated it evenly.
- Serve the orange-juice-chicken with your favorite side dishes.
