Ingredients
- 1 package extra-firm tofu, drained and pressed
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 2 tablespoons freshly grated ginger
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
Directions
- Cut the tofu into 12 even pieces. In a shallow bowl, combine the orange juice, ginger, soy sauce, honey, and sesame oil. Stir until well blended.
- Dip each piece of tofu into the orange juice mixture, then coat with the cornstarch. Place the tofu triangles on a plate or baking sheet.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. When the oil is hot, add the tofu triangles. Fry until golden brown and crispy, about 5 minutes per side.
- Remove the tofu triangles from the skillet and place on a paper towel-lined plate to absorb any excess oil. Serve warm.
