Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
Directions
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until browned, about 3 minutes per side.
- Add the beef broth, onion, garlic, tomatoes, chili powder, cumin, oregano, salt, pepper, and cayenne. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add the kidney beans and simmer for another 30 minutes.
- Serve hot with your favorite toppings.
