Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1 cup chopped apples
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup mincemeat

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9-inch pie dish.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the molasses.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the creamed mixture until fully combined. Fold in the raisins, apples, pecans, and mincemeat.
  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared pie dish and bake for 50 to 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  5. Let cool before serving.
