Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1/4 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (your choice)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup (optional)

Directions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine the oats and almond milk. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until the oatmeal begins to thicken, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Stir in the blueberries, nuts, and cinnamon. Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until the oatmeal is thick and creamy, about 3-5 minutes.
  3. Remove from the heat and stir in the maple syrup, if using. Divide the oatmeal among two bowls and enjoy!
