Ingredients
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Directions
- In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the sugar and evaporated milk and stir until the sugar has dissolved.
- Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
- Add the chocolate chips and stir until melted and combined.
- Stir in the walnuts, if desired.
- Spread the fudge into a greased 8-inch square pan.
- Refrigerate until set, about 2 hours.
