Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 small onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes
- 1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
- 2 cups beef broth
Directions
- Heat the oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat. Add the onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Add the garlic and cook for an additional minute.
- Add the ground beef and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the chili powder, smoked paprika, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper and cook for an additional minute.
- Add the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, and beef broth and bring to a boil.
- Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 30 minutes.
- Serve with your favorite chili toppings!
