Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9 inch pie pan.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar. Beat in the eggs one at a time.
- In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder and salt. Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the creamed mixture.
- Stir in the vanilla, chocolate chips and walnuts. Spread the mixture into the prepared pie pan.
- Bake for 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before serving.
