Myra's Basil Chicken Stir Fry

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into thin strips
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the chicken strips and cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through.
  3. Add the onion, garlic, and bell pepper and cook for another 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Add the soy sauce and cook for 1 minute, stirring occasionally.
  5. Add the basil, salt, and pepper and stir to combine.
  6. Serve immediately.
