Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons mesquite liquid smoke
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients. Whisk until smooth.
  2. Transfer the sauce to a saucepan and bring to a simmer over medium-low heat. Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Remove from heat and let cool. Transfer to an airtight container and store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
