In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the milk, oil and egg. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
Gently fold in the chocolate chips, peanut butter chips and walnuts.
Heat a griddle or large skillet over medium-high heat. Grease the surface with butter or cooking spray. Drop about 1/4 cup of batter onto the griddle for each pancake, leaving room for them to spread. Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the edges are beginning to set and the bottoms are golden. Flip and cook for an additional 2 minutes, or until golden brown.
Serve the pancakes warm with maple syrup, if desired.
