Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup peanut butter chips
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
- Maple syrup, for serving (optional)
Directions
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the milk, oil and egg. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Gently fold in the chocolate chips, peanut butter chips and walnuts.
- Heat a griddle or large skillet over medium-high heat. Grease the surface with butter or cooking spray. Drop about 1/4 cup of batter onto the griddle for each pancake, leaving room for them to spread. Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the edges are beginning to set and the bottoms are golden. Flip and cook for an additional 2 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Serve the pancakes warm with maple syrup, if desired.
