Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 (16 oz) package macaroni
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup milk
Directions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, onion, and bell pepper until beef is browned and vegetables are softened.
- Stir in the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, cook macaroni according to package instructions. Drain.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked macaroni, sloppy joe mixture, 1 1/2 cups of the cheddar cheese, sour cream, and milk. Stir until combined.
- Transfer the mixture to a 9x13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of cheese on top.
- Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 20 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
