Ingredients
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup dry white wine
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 lb asparagus, trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces
Directions
- Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add the shrimp and cook until they are almost cooked through, about 2 minutes.
- Add the wine, lemon juice, red pepper flakes, salt and pepper and bring to a simmer.
- Add the asparagus and cook until the shrimp are cooked through and the asparagus is tender, about 3 minutes.
- Add the parsley and stir to combine.
- Serve warm.
