Ingredients

  • 1 hanger steak
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup port
  • 1 shallot, minced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Directions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season the hanger steak with salt and pepper.
