Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together the melted butter, sugar, and vanilla extract until combined.
  3. Add the baking powder, salt, and flour to the bowl and mix until a dough forms.
  4. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  5. Using a small cookie scoop, scoop the dough onto the prepared baking sheet. Flatten each cookie slightly with the back of a spoon.
  6. Bake in preheated oven for 12-14 minutes until lightly golden brown.
  7. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
