- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, mix together the melted butter, sugar, and vanilla extract until combined.
- Add the baking powder, salt, and flour to the bowl and mix until a dough forms.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Using a small cookie scoop, scoop the dough onto the prepared baking sheet. Flatten each cookie slightly with the back of a spoon.
- Bake in preheated oven for 12-14 minutes until lightly golden brown.
- Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
