Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup currants
- 1/2 cup golden raisins
- 1/2 cup chopped dried apricots
- 1/2 cup chopped dates
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- 1/2 cup candied orange peel
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup brandy
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground allspice
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Directions
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef and onion over medium heat until the beef is no longer pink.
- Stir in the raisins, currants, golden raisins, apricots, dates, cranberries, and orange peel.
- Stir in the walnuts, brown sugar, brandy, white sugar, molasses, cinnamon, allspice, cloves, and nutmeg.
- Bring to a boil, reduce the heat to low, and simmer for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from the heat and let cool.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
